Model Number: 2375ERS Brand: Jenn-Air Age: More than 10 years
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for my Jenn-Air 2375ERS cooktop? The right front (small) burner control turns on the fan when the burner comes on, but the left front (small) burner control doesn't. Both large back burner controls turn on the fan when the burner is turned on. I want to figure out what is supposed to happen when the small burner is turned on (fan or no fan?). Thank you for your help!

Hi Fred,
Look under the cook top. It should be an envelope attached to the bottom panel. If it's not there - try to call the Jenn Air tech support, but it's not free. Best regards. Gene.

I have an older S176W Jenn Air Range.
regarding fan wiring: In my recent attempt to switch the grill/grate from the left side to the right side for kitchen functionality purposes, I discovered that when I plugged the element in on the right side and turned it on (with either or both controls on the right side) the fan would come on. Previously, the cartridge element was on the right side and the fan never came on for it or the grill/grate unless I switched it on at the fan switch. I decided that with no control of the fan function with the continous air flow, the grill/grate would take a lot longer to warm up consequently increasing power usage (bill) and becoming markedly less efficient. Regrettably, the whole range is terribly slow as it is and needs upgrading, which is why I am here. My questions are: I have three hot prong (plus round ground) receptacles for each side. The glass cartridge is slow and I want to upgrade it. But will the new ones for sale work for me without rewiring? Also I have a four prong (plus ground) open grill/grate element that works albeit very slowly. I am getting full voltage (118 + 118) on one element and 118v on the other. This might be why it performs so poorly, i.e., I have either the wrong element or I need to rewire. Does anyone have any experience with either of these problems? thanks,md |
