Replaced heating element after hot spot fried the elecment. After installing new one the clock display did not come back on. Is that a fuse or rest or has my clock display fried? :(

No fuse. If the clock has power it will need to be replaced. Good chance that the clock got damaged when the heating element shorted out to ground. Seen it many times.
