tappan oven makes fluterring sound
Model Number: 72-3981-00/07 Brand: Tappan Age: More than 10 years
My tappan range w/oven below and above was purchased in 1994. The problem exist in the lower oven and is of a Continuous Self-Cleaning type.
My problem is when turning this oven on it hesitates, I see however a reddish light thru the oven bottom slits. Then after 2 or 3 minutes I hear the puff of the gas igniting. It burns then but with a fluttering sound and in order to avoid any unfortunate consequences I turn it off.
