I need help- Trying to repair my Thermador extra low burner, but my repair guy can't get one of the burners apart -therefore can't access and repair my extra low burner. I guess he could core out the center of the burner and try to remove the burner that way.. I have already had two service calls on this. I just put in new countertops and have the downdraft exterior blower connected to this cooktop. Is there any hope for me?

To take out burner base and plate you need to uncrew the injector sleeve part number AP2821735.You have to use a socket head 20mm (or 22mm) Before doing anything i recomend to apply some water around injector sleeve using a sponge. If the sleeve already damaged reshape it using a Drimel tool and then use smaller socket.Good luck.
