This gas stove has left front and rear burners that work fine. When you turn their handles, the igniter works for each one.

However, when trying to ignite the right front or rear, the left rear igniter tries to ignite, not the ones on the right.

Any one ever had this problem? This is a used stove in otherwise very good condition I picked up and trying to use. Oven and broiler work well.

Normally when ANY burner is turned on, ALL burners should spark.

not the ones on the right.

If any burner is not sparking, there may be a problem with the spark electrode at the burner or the wiring between it/them and the spark module.

I corrected the model number.

However, on another stove I looked at, only the igniter for the burner I am trying to light is the one that sparks. Even on this stove, on the left side, only the burner that I am trying to light is the only one that sparks.

Different stoves are made and function differently. There is nothing to say whichever other one you looked at should perform exactly as yours does unless it is the very same model or at least uses the common spark module setup.

Sorry but I don't see how that is possible. Each burner ignition switch on model 362.72201891 just sends power to the whole spark module. That module doesn't know which switch was turned on. It in turn should spark all burners until the spark grounded by a flame at the burner.

The spark module has one power input and 4 power outputs, one to each burner (commonly referred to as a '4+0 spark module' - the 4 being the number of surface burner outputs).
