I've had a problem for several years with the rear burners sometimes not sparking. I was told I needed a new spark module. My wife finally got on me to fix it so I read some postings here and decided to take a closer look. Removing the burner and using my electrical meter I found no continuity between the bottom and the top of the sparker (electrode?) and no continuity from one spot on the burner to another. So I took a small file and cleaned the electrode and the spot it sparks to. And now it works great! Thank you AppliancePartsPros and you are my new appliance guru.
