Oven Repair (including Ranges and Cooktops)

Ignitor continues to click when burner knob is turned off. Turning knob back and forth eventually turns ignitor off, but took longer as time went on. We have stopped using the burner until I find out if I can replace a part myself or if I need a repair by a professional. Thanks in advance for assistance.

There should be an electrical switch near the burner valve. It is what powers the spark module when turned on. That switch may be defective or its mounting loose, etc.
