After a recent thunderstorm, our 16 year old oven is not working. The door is locked, and the display is unresponsive. The cooktop is working, as it should be. I have reset the breaker, and even left it off for several minutes, wih no luck. I have read about the "slow-blow" 20A fuse (AP3110028) in this forum, but since the door remains locked, I was wondering if I should consider purchasing the solenoid assembly (AP4379824), as well. I would certainly appreciate any additional advice anyone may provide.

I typed in the wrong number for the correct fuse - s/b AP3026588. The complete model number is KERH507YWHO. The display is blank, and it will not respond. Thanks.

According to the Wiring diagram, there are no fuses in this range. Looks like the control board has gone bad. If you need the correct part number for the control board then post the color of the key panel. Gene.

It appears to me that there is no power getting to the panel. The cooktop still works, as it has throughout this debacle. I am wondering if the door lock solenoid may also be bad, somehow casuing a loss of power to the control panel. With the service panel off, I have manually unlocked the door, only to have it relock, when the stove is plugged back in. I can't think of anything else it could be - unless the part I received from APP is bad...? Please advise any thoughts. Thanks, Frank

I now have the exact same problem. I would like to know how it worked out for you with the door locking mechanism? How do we get the darn thing open??
