I have a Whirlpool 4 burners gas cooktop. Three of the 4 burners can not be lit up unless using match. The automatic ignition by the switch knobs are not working at all. I don't hear clicking, and there are no sparks at any of the burners when the knobs are turned to ignite. Can anyone tell me what the problem is? What part should I order and have it replaced? Thanks.

Not without at least some actual testing.

Burners not sparking at all could be due to a defective ignition switch (see the following link) on the burner valve. It would however be fairly unusual for more than one to fail at the same time (if in fact they did fail together).

There could also be a problem in the wiring from those switches to the unit's spark module.

The only other possibility I can think of is the s spark module and I can't see it being the cause if it ever clicks when a burner is turned on so that should rule it out.
