WHEN I PRESS THE "BAKE" pad on oven, the temperature setting is too faint to read it...

Is the display always too faint or just when you press bake? If always, there is likely a problem in the electronic control itself.

The time display is visible (altho I don't think its as bright as it used to be) the temperature setting is no more/no less visible when I press "Bake"

Is it different than the time display? If both are similar, the electronic control is likely the cause. If the time/temperature illumination is different, I don't know what could cause that but I can't see it being anything other than the control either.
