I recently replaced the safety valve and igniter bar on my OLD oven. Now the flame is way too big. The shutter is wide open as per the install manual, but the flame still comes up into the oven compartment. This was not a problem before the parts change. This is an LP oven. Now what?

Can you please please please tell me where I can order the oven valvle that you replaced? I too have the same oven and the valve needs to be replaced, however, everywhere I turn I'm told that the part has been discontinued! Please! Thanks!

I got the safety valve at appliancepartspros.com. Be sure that's your problem tho. Turns out mine was really the igniter bar, which is a lot cheaper than the valve. $100.00 cheaper. Oven does work great now tho.
