initially something had to be grounded because it kept tripping breaker when i got there, disconnected wires to a temp switch in series with top element and it stop tripping. switch crumbles when i took wires off so i assume this was 1st problem, now when i jump switch out wires overheating to the point of melting terminals, all elements looked to be ok, need to know cause of overheating..
