Hi there, i own a magic chef range model CGR3765ADC. i've been trying to get the thing converted to run on propane it was supposed to have been converted when i bought it but wasn't. the propane company came out and was able to adjust the oven however they told me i need parts to convert the cooktop. i spoke to the official parts distributor who said gave me a part number W10124350 but then said the part is unavailable. a google search for that part number brings me to exploded diagrams on where the part, still unavailable is described as Not Required Part Or See Note Lp Conversion Kit - N/a (converted On The Unit)

i spoke to whirlpool which owns magic chef and they looked and looked but couldn't find conversion instructions anywhere. they suggested that the range is converted on the unit either by flipping the brass orifice or via a switch but they couldn't confirm the procedure and suggested i call my propane company which is where i started. help.

anyone have any idea on how this might be done? thanks.
