The oven door handle is held by very short screws. The handle has come apart several times because the screws barely thread into the handle.
I purchased a new handle only to find that new screws were not supplied. Do you have a suggestion for what I can use as a replacement for the factory screws? I need very specific info please. Are these screws heat resistant?
Thanks!:D

Quote:purchased a new handle only to find that new screws were not supplied Each and every component of an appliance is usually a separate part and would need to be ordered individually. If you order a handle you get a handle, if you order screws you will get screws, etc. LINK > Frigidaire GLEF378CSD Handle ScrewQuote:what I can use as a replacement for the factory screws? Similar screws but maybe *a bit* longer? Quote: I need very specific info please The parts list says: Screw handle mtg. - wafer head, 10-14 x 1-3/8Does that help? If you want to try to find different ones I suggest you take the originals to a screw supplier and see if they can match up a replacement which is *slightly* longer. Too long and you may damage the part of the handle it screws into and/or not be able to be done up tight. Quote:Are these screws heat resistant? No, just probably steel.
