very old range. back right 6inch burner needs to be replaced. The burner looks like part number AP2591886. I need to know how to replace this type of burner. It looks like I have to unscrew some screws. I have talked with 3 different people about the burner and they keep showing me burners that are much thinner coils. this stove has large fat coils and only 2 coils to the center. the plug end looks like the one in the stove. I need to know how to take out the old and put in this one.

Under the chrome trim ring there will be 2 screws down through the top holding the element mounting bracket in place. Once removed the element can be pulled into the element well to access its wiring.

The wires have connectors which either push onto the element terminals separately or both will be mounted in a plastic connector which unplugs from the element.

JFYI
