I just replaced the dual infinite switch for the large burner, the posts line up but are labled differently, the switch works except the on indicator light stays on, if i remove the wire from the bottom post the on indicator light goes out and the swith will still work, do i have a bad swith or the wrong switch???????

The switch might be defective (although fairly unlikely if brand new) or wired incorrectly. Checking your work should usually be the first thing that is done.

I couldn't say whether it was the wrong switch as we have no idea what part you installed.
