Model Number: fgb557cesa Brand: Frigidaire Age: 5 - 10 years
I am having trouble reading the temp. readings. Do I have to replace the clock mechanism ?

Yes, the correction is to replace the clock/time, but unfortunately this part has been discontinued by the manufacturer. You can try to send the old part to PCBR.BIZ for repair.
