When I closed the door this time for it got closed with good force (my mistake). It caused the hook that closes the door to snap and the oven light connection to get messed up. Due to this the hook is totally loose and the oven light does not go off. It gets pretty heated (light). I had to shut the main switch for oven. How to do I repair the hook and make sure the light connection which is inside the front panel is properly repaired. I removed small screws in front that I could see but I could not open the panel etc to go inside the top portion where I could see the wires etc from outside. How do repair it? How do I remove the top portion so that I can go inside where the displays are? Do I need to take the whole oven out? I would prefer not but in that case, how do I take it out? I would appreciate if someone responds preferably with help using the oven diagrams etc. But any help is appreciated.
