I have a Jenn Air wall oven. One day, I acidentally pressed the broil button instead of bake. When I came back in the house, the house was full of smoke. I could not turn off the broiler. The plastic housing surrounding the control buttons was beginning to melt. The only way to shut off the whole unit was to turn off the breaker. Even after I did that and turned the breaker back on, the broiler started to heat up way too high again. Finally, I just left the breaker off for several hours, and when I turned the breaker back on, the over and broiler did not turn back on. What is going on with this oven?
