Modern Maid gas cooktop not igniting
Model Number: KGT583 Brand: Modern Maid Age: More than 10 years
Have an 1985 Modern Maid gas cooktop, Model KGT 583.
electronic ignition stopped working. We get gas but no spark. Any idea what might be wrong and what part needs replacing? Thanks Longfam Ads By Google Related Models

Most likely the problem with your stove is a bad spark module (#18 on the #4 break down diagram).
The original part is no longer available but if you can post pictures of the old part and all numbers written on it, might be I could match it up. Happy New year! Gene.
