Someone asked how I knew it was the problem. The knob has been hard to turn for as long as I know. When you roll it on it usually clicks a bit, but now not so much, as in a lesser sound. The pilot is lit, but the gas will not ignite the burner. The burners work fine. Is there a way to clean the residue to make a difference or why do you ask what you did? What else could it be? Now, back to my other questions? If you cannot read them, e-mail me for the rest of the details. exspullifier@peoplepc.com I need to fix my range. Thanks for your time, Dana Alexander
