The oven is heating to about 70 degrees above the set temp. I checked the sensors (it has an upper and lower oven and both are high) and they measure a resistance of 1070 ohms. This is within range. What else can I check?

Dwayne, If the sensor resistance is 1050 to 1100 ohms, at room temp. then the sensor is in range. You may want to preheat the oven to 400 degrees for 15 or 20 minutes and check the sensor resistance, it should be 1750 ohms. If the sensor resistance is in range(+/- 10%) the sensor is OK and you'll need to replace the control, if the temperature is above 35 dgrs. off either high or low you won't be able to ajust or calibrate it. Good Luck and Thanks, :) :) :)
