Preheat to 350, I think it reaches the preheat temp, the light does come on indicating that the preheat cycle is over. Put in the food after a while check on it and the oven is not hot. To get it going again we have increased the temp setting to 400. This has worked the 2 times we noticed the problem. We did not lower the temp setting back to 350 to see if it would continue to bake. Both times this has happened we had company and they were waiting on the meal so we just let it go at 400.

Is there a check I can make on the thermostat or could there be a dead spot at 350?

You have to have a multimeter to measure the current drawn by the Bake igniter. If the reading is equal or less than 3.2 Amp, the igniter is bad.

- The Bake igniter Part number: AP2020569
