Default Left burners will not ignite
Model Number: 6498xvs   Brand: Magic Chef   Age: More than 10 years   
Appliance Parts from AppliancePartPros.com
I have had this stove for over 10 years, lately my 2 left burners are not igniting but my 2 right side do. What part will I need to fix this problem.
Also if I ignite the right side simultaniously the left side will ignite with the right side spark. Will I need a spark module? and what would be the part number.

Question Ignition switches?

Than there may be a problem in the ignitor switch(es) mounted on the burner valves or in the wiring from them to the spark module.

It would be unusual that both those switches failed at the same time (if in fact they did) but not totally outside the realm of possibility.

Both sides of the cooktop should use the same spark module so it shouldn't be the problem, just power getting to it when the affected burners are turned on.
