Oven Repair (including Ranges and Cooktops)

Mod# JT912BF4BB
Used the self clean, started flashing F2 , Was told to replace the control board. The oven now beeps when setting a temp to say 250 saying it is at that temp before pre-heating. Could this be the thermostat?

Could be something with the oven temp sensor or connection. Here is some more information on that fault code.
