Oven Repair (including Ranges and Cooktops)

I guess I need a new igniter and I got it out without much problem but I want to be as sure as possible it will solve the problem. Also, I want to be sure the new one will fit in place correctly and the plug matches up correctly.

If you buy the correct replacement for your model, it will physically fit.

Sorry, no guarantees there. Often the wiring must be cut and rejoined using *ceramic* wire nuts which are often (but not always) supplied with the replacement ignitor.
