The other day I tried to preheat my GE Spectra JBP64 TO 400 DEGREES. iT TOOK FOREVER TO GET FROM 100 TO 200 DEGREES AND THEN ONLY HEATED TO 325 DEGREES. wHAT COULD BE CAUSING THIS?

It sounds like the bake unit is bad and the only heat you are getting is heat from the broil unit and because during bake the broil unit only heats partially it would take forever to preheat. Turn it back on to see if the bake unit gets red or not. If not it is most likely bad if you have a meter you can check it. Be sure to disconnect power before attempting to do anything to it.
