Sirs, I have a 2 year old Frigidaire FGF368GQ. Now 2 years ago when we bought the house it was installed and has worked fine since then. However last night the oven would not light. The stove top burners work just fine but the stove and the broiler do not work now. Who ever installed or paid for the oven bought the cheap version of the model. Its the version without the clock/timer on it. Even the manual shows the clock version. I assume its the ignitor that is bad? My daugher said she turned it on, put in her pizza and came back 5/10 min. later and it was not lit. I checked it and didnt smell gas but I checked it 20 min later when I got home. Does the gas flow get regulated by the ignitor or by the control knob? Or should I just replace both?

Model Number: FGF368GQ

That model number is incomplete. It is missing at least one digit at the end (eg. FGF368GQ_). Can you double check it.

Does the gas flow get regulated by the ignitor or by the control knob?

The knob would just turn a thermostat. It is the thermostat that powers the oven ignition system which consists of the oven ignitor and gas valve. All must be functioning in order for the oven to heat.

One of the first observations necessary in troubleshooting problems with such an ignition system is seeing what the oven ignitor is doing when turned on. You can read about what tests can be performed on such a system to try to isolate suspect components at the following link:
