Oven Repair (including Ranges and Cooktops)

When I follow the instructions to clean the oven by first turning the both knobs to CLEAN the you are supposed to swing the lever to the right to lock the oven door and push the timer button twice for auto 2 hour cleaning. The problem is the lever will not go to the right all the way. It goes about 85% and if you pull on the door it will open.

It always worked in the past and now it has been at least 6 months. What is the problem?
