Good Morning,
I have replaced the oven controller with Appliancepartspro number AP4481802. I didn't notice while removing the old controller that the ribbon conducters came out of the controller sockets and I am having difficulty re-connecting them. I have not attmpted to remove the sockets from the controller circuit board. Do they unplug from the board? Does the ribbon just slide into the side of the socket and lock in place when the socket top is pressed in ? I tried this several times and the ribbon doesn't seem very secure and comes out again when attempting to re-install the controller. Even when I am able to get the controller re-installed with the ribbon in place the control button don,t function.
