I have a Frigidaire model FEF368CCSA electric range/oven. After resetting the clock after a power outage, the oven won't start. When the pre-heat/bake/broil button is pushed and a temperature is entered on the control panel, the oven shows "On" for less than 5 seconds then goes back to displaying the current time. The oven does not start/run longer than that.

The range burners work fine. The clock on the control panel works fine. I unplugged the range, waited 30 seconds, then plugged it back in - no luck. Any help with what test(s) to run or what might be wrong would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I'm afraid it sounds like the power outage may have damaged your clock. When the power come back on there may have been a spike of voltage.

This is a simple range and if there is power to the oven control, but the control does not function correctly there is not much you can do other then replace the oven control.

Here is the control for your model range.
