oven thinks its locked flashing codes
Model Number: pleb27t8ccb Brand: Frigidaire Age: 1 - 5 years
made the mistake of attempting to clean the oven on christmas eve nothing happened but now the lock light is on door will open but oven will not work lock is not engaged F8 code and alarm sounds disconnected power tried to reset no luck! pushed both upper and lower cancel buttons with no luck any ideas thanks for your help and have a merry christmas

Most likely the problem is a bad switch or a bad motor on the door latch assembly(#89 on the oven body break down diagram).
If the problem is a switch - it could be replaced separate. If the problem is a motor, then the whole door latch assembly has to be replaced. - The part number for the interlock switch is AP2128641 - The part number for the door latch assembly is AP2128406 Happy Holidays! Gene.
