Samsung ftq307nwgx Induction Range. Oven and Broiler work. None of the top elements work. Range is brand new, but was bought as-is, probably a return. The cooktop controls work, but no heat from any of the elements. Cooktop shows a pan detection error, an "O" with a line under it. Obviously, I've tried different pans. Service manual says possibly bad inverter, but since none of the burners work, and there are 2 inverters, it's unlikely that they are both bad on a new range. Manual also says to check Touch Assy PCB. Not likely the problem, since it detects all keypad commands. Anyone work on one of these before?

I'm assuming that all the pans you tried do allow a magnet to stick to them? If the system has a log of errors or a self test feature use it. In lieu of error codes and only the pan dedect error I would think that the software that resides in firmware on the stove might be corrupted. Software continually looks for the coupling effect of inducing a current through the magnetic steel of the pan and if it doesn't see that feedback it throws the error you see. If its not software then a hardware error code should result but you say there isn't one.
