Intermittent error codes of F-10 and F-7 with beeping. I turn off the power then it resets and works for a few days then starts again. Any help would be appreciated.

An F7 fault code on your model is suppose to indicate a failed electronic control.

An F10 fault code is suppose to indicate a 'runaway' temperature condition.

That could be caused by a shorted relay on the electronic control powering the elements uncontrollably (requiring the control to be replaced) or the control receiving incorrect temperature data from the oven temperature sensor.

Fault codes are not a 'carved in stone' representation what the actual cause IS. They are just indicators that point to what area(s) might need further investigation. It is not outside the realm of possibility that just an oven temperature sensor problem could be responsible for both symptoms.

All possibilities should be investigated before deciding on what component(s) might need to be replaced to correct the condition. If there was not a problem with the temperature sensor than the control itself might be most suspect.

I replaced the controller and it worked for 2 days then the F10 and F7 error codes returned intermittently. I checked the oven temp sensor and it measured 1.08K ohms and that seems ok. So I am stuck at this point and would appreciate more help.

You checked the sensor at the time that a failure code was present?

That is when its measurement would only reveal a problem. Sensors or their wiring could be intermittent, working Ok sometimes but acting up and causing problems at other times.

I can't think of anything else that could be responsible for those fault codes on your model.

When I got the error code I quickly unplugged the sensor probe and the reading was under 1100 ohms, I did this 5 times with the same result so it appears the sensor is good. Any other suggestions would be appreciated before I call a repairman. Thank you.

You tested it at the connection to the electronic control?

What was the oven temperature at when the test was performed? 1100 ohms would be about correct for a room temperature oven.

No I just unplugged and checked it across the probe itself, I am not sure where it plugs into the board at.
