whilpool oven

oven will not get hot enough, takes to long to bake, already replaced oven element. No codes

Place an oven thermometer in the middle of the oven cavity. Set the oven for Bake at 350°F and start it. Wait until it's preheated (should beep). Give it 15 minutes more. Open the oven door and read the thermometer. Post the results.

oven temperature not hot enough

Hay Gene ,
I did what you said with the oven thermometer in the oven set at 350 degrees for 15 min. Temperature was 250 on thermometer:rolleyes:. 100 degrees to low. This is an electric whirlpool GR448LXPB0 ser# RR4115706. Like I mention before I already replaced the lower element. I'm leaning towards the oven temp sensor??
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Dave

Hi Dave,

Check the oven sensor for continuity. The normal reading should be about 1100 Ohms at the room temperature. If the reading is correct, replace the control board.
