Hello,

Working on this for a friend. They get an F1 on the display and beeping. From what I have been able to gather by reading posts here, it will need a new control board Part Number: AP315597. The keypad appears to function properly. Does this sound like a correct diagnosis? And are there any tips or tricks to replacing this part? I am competent with tools and repair work but am not an appliance expert. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Norman

I'm not sure why this thread continues to get ignored, I posted the original question more than 3 weeks ago. I'd be happy to buy any parts from this site but I could use some guidance as to which direction to go. Please, if any experts could just chime in, it would be greatly appreciated.
