The cooktop is working while the control panel buttons are totally dead.

The clock is working with PF (power failure), is unable to adjust the time (off/cancel button is dead).

The oven is not working due to control panel buttons failure.

Please advise if the replacement of the control panel is needed.

Thank you.

Do you just mean PF is displaying rather then the clock actually 'working' and displaying the time? Or are both occurring together??

Yes, it is showing PF and the clock is working and displaying the time.

The time is not correct and cannot be adjusted to the current time becasue all buttons (including the clear/adjust button to clear the "PF") on the control panel are dead.

Thank you.

That is most likely to be caused by a defective electronic control (see the following link) or somehow the ribbon connector running between the control panel keypad and the electronic control came loose for some reason. I think the latter is only a pretty slim possibility but certainly worth checking before replacing the control.

I think it highly unlikely a control panel would fail in such a way that absolutely all of its buttons were disabled at the same time. It might not be totally outside the realm of possibility though.

BTW. Have you tried disconnecting power from the appliance for a minute or two to see if maybe the control would reset?

Yes, I have tried to turn off the power for few minutes and then turn on again. All buttons on the control panel were not working.

Even I tried the second time waiting for more than 2 hours before turning on the power again, the buttons were dead except the clock with PF.

May be I need to replace the whole control panel.

Thank you so much for your advice.

There is a control "panel" (item # 1 at the following link) which has the keypad where you press buttons for settings and time, etc. Basically a decorative panel. There is also the electronic control (item # 3 in the illustration) behind the control panel which is what actually does all the work of controlling the appliance's functions.

I suggested the electronic control (not the control "panel") might be the most likely culprit but the control panel might be a possibility as well as stated above. Each of those are individual components and not sold together as a single assembly.

JFYI
