I have a GE gas range, model JGBP35WEW1WW. Yesterday when I was baking bread, the oven suddenly quit working and now will not even ignite. I do not smell gas, the broiler and stove top still work. I am suspecting the igniter is no longer working, but am uncertain of this. How can I diagnose the problem and which part might I order for replacement? I understand that there is a round igniter and a flat igniter and that they are not interexchangeable.
Thank you in advance for your help~

Someone will have to look and see. You can read about the various kinds of gas oven ignition systems and the observations and tests necessary to diagnose problems with them at the following link: LINK > Understanding Gas Oven Ignition SystemsQuote:I understand that there is a round igniter and a flat igniter and that they are not interchangeable.
