Oven Repair (including Ranges and Cooktops)

I am having great difficulty removing the light bulb cover on the back wall of the oven to change a blown light bulb. It is frozen and won't budge. Any suggestions on a way to solve this dilemma? All help will be greatly appreciated!!

I don't know of any other way than just unscrewing it. If worse came to worse I suppose it could be broken and then just replaced.

It looks like the cover is only sold along with the socket (see the following link). Maybe they experienced problems like your before?
