OK got power to my oven and lower works fine. The lower is controlled by a dial for temperature and "Bake or Broil" dial. The upper is dead?????

The electronic control is not showing anything. No error codes just blank, no light at all. Some people have told me to check the thermal switch. I can see one thermal switch when I remove the face panel, positioned to the left of the fan, but do not know how to check it.

To verify I have wiring set right I have red to red, black to black and white to white, also ground. It is on a 250volt circuit. When power was first applied the control panel worked fine. Turned on upper oven and it started to heat, then around 200 to 250 degrees it blanked out. It has not worked since. This unit is not installed as of yet. bought it used and was trying it out before installation.

Has anyone confirmed whether power was getting to it or not?

It would be unusual (but not totally outside the realm of possibility) for there to be a thermal fuse just for the one control panel but check the unit's wiring diagram to see if that might be a possibility on your model.

do not know how to check [thermal switch].

Usually for continuity:
