My oven is not heating. Have determined that it is one of the heating elements. How do I know which one to replace?

Thanks

If it doesn't heat when you select bake, replace the bottom one.
If it doesn't heat when you select broil, replace the top one.

Before I bought a new element I would make sure I had 230 volts a t the element connection. Problem could be a broken or loose wire or a bad relay.

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL GBS307PRB01 | AppliancePartsPros.com

Here is a tech sheet
https://www.servicematters.com/d...0Sheet%20-%208301758.pdf

First check that you have 240 volts going to the unit.
If you do not have a meter turn the breaker off/on slowly a couple times.
Sometimes you can loose half the line without actually tripping the breaker, the control only requires half the line (120 volts) not the full 240 volts that the elements require.
Note that the tech sheet says both elements should be on during preheat.

Note that there is a thermal fuse in line with both elements.
Check it with a meter, should be 0 ohms.

Another possibility would be that the Double Line Break Relay is not closing.
