On the cook top you have to turn on both large burners to get them to work . they will not work indivudality.

The kenmore burners on the top, you have to turn on both large burners to get them to work . the burners will not work indivudality but have to be used at the same time.

If it is less than 1-year old it should be still under warranty in which case you should call for warranty service.
