i have a kitchen aid superba gas range, and for the last 6 months to a year it has had trouble lighting the oven burner. at this point it doesn't light at all. everything else on the unit is functional, including the broiler, and when it was working the temperature was fine. the issue seems to be that there is no gas coming out of the burner. the heating element for the oven burner seems fine, as it glows enough to get the oven to 'lo'. when it was working intermittently i was usually able to light it with a match, but at this point it doesn't light at all.

since everything else seems functional and there's no gas for the bake burner, i'm wondering if the most likely culprit is one of the following:

- bake burner
WHIRLPOOL Bake Burner, part number: AP2994571

- valve and regulator assembly
WHIRLPOOL Valve & Regulator Assembly, part number: AP3178816

any ideas or other parts i should look at?

thanks
