Hello,
We just replaced the gas valve/regulator, which has solved the problem of neither oven, broiler, nor burners lighting.
However, the stove burner flames are much lower than they should be.
Any ideas why?
Thank you!

(We are on propane. Could there be some adjustment needed?)

After reading through forums my husband was going to make sure the valve was right for propane. When he went to touch the nut it moved freely, he tightened it, and now when I turn the oven on the flames are shooting up from the bottom into the oven itself.
The burners are great now, but are probably a little much.

Definitely! Replacement gas parts are usually shipped set up for natural gas. They would need to be converted for propane use the same way your range likely was when it was originally installed.

Check the installation instructions for your range for the necessary procedures for converting for LP use or call in a *licensed* gas appliance technician or installer to set it up properly.

Do not use it that way!
