Whirelpool oven and broiler wont ignite
Model Number: gs445lels Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
Hi
My range's oven and broiler won't ignite. I tried replacing the igniter for the oven, but that didn't work. I checked the ohms on the 3 solenoids on the gas valve, and it shows zero for one of the pairs and 200+ for the other. When I turn the oven on from the control, I hear couple of clicking sounds, and also smell the gas. For the broiler, there are no clicking sounds, but I smell the gas. The igniter does not glow when turned on. Would replacing the gas valve fix the issue ? Or should I check other things first ? Thanks Ads By Google Related Models
