Oven Repair (including Ranges and Cooktops)

The oven door seems to open too easily. We have often discovered the oven light on and find the door slightly ajar. Is there an adjustment to the door spring or hinge to correct this? The oven is new and has only been in use a few months.

I would try one in a store to see if it is the same.

Not that I know of. You could remove the door and then reinstall it just to see if perhaps a hinge is not catching correctly. Directions should be in your Operators Manual.

The oven is new and has only been in use a few months.
If the above does nothing I would place a service call under warranty.
