I was cooking in the oven when I saw a spark come form the stove. I couldn't pin point it though. After I was done cooking I opened the oven door and closed it again and then the whole thing just dropped dead. I checked the breaker in th eghouse and it was not tripped. When I looked in the back behind the cover I saw that the black wire was charred and the plastic bracket was melted away. I am not sure what I should do? Is this an easy fix or is better to just buy a new range? I 've read about Kenmore having this issues. Also I dont know if it is a problem with the stiove or from the house. NEED HELP URGENT!!
