I have a GE profile XL 44 Range (JGBS23WEW3WW). One of the burners on the cook top (right front) no longer sparks to light the gas. When I turn the offending knob none of the other 3 burners spark. When I turn any of the other 3 knobs the bad burner will spark too. From reading through the other forums it looks like I need a spark switch? ,not the ignition module? Do you know what part I need? Also some basic instruction on where this part is would be good. Is it at the knob, at the burner or somewhere under the cooktop?

Most likely the problem is a bad ignition switch (#12 on the diagram) which is located on the gas burner valve shaft.

Remove all burners and the screws under the burners. Lift up the top panel. Remove all knobs. Remove the screws holding the front (manifold panel). Open the oven door and remove the screws holding this panel. Pull out the panel.

- The part number for the ignition switch is AP2023934
