Bake element heats but broiler will not heat. Have checked line voltage, 240v; element impedance, 17-20 ohms; voltage at element, 120v. What other possibilities can be checked? The rest of the range is operating. How do I confirm that the expensive electronic control board is at fault? Please help!:eek:

Should not be the RTD as the bake element would also not work.
Sounds like the control board is toast. |

It should be fairly straight forward.
If you have a problem with static electricity in your house ground your self before starting. If you have copper plumbing then just grab a copper pipe under the sink for a couple seconds and that should get your body to Neutral. |
