Range seems to work fine except for when I preheat my oven and open the door to put in the dish or cookie sheet, the smell of the smoke that comes from the inside of the oven takes your breath. It smells like burning plastic. It just started doing this about 1 wk ago. Have only used it a couple of times, it baked the cookies just fine in approx time. It has never smoked like that before. I have tested the oven sensor with an ohm meter and got a reading of 1700-1800 at room temp. Everything I have read upon researching this said the meter should read 1000-1100 at room temp. Do you think this is my problem. When the oven preheats using the convection control you do not get this smell and smoke. Thanks Lori
